Syncing Server-Created Email Groups to Outlook Automatically

Hello,

We have created several user groups within the webmail interface of SmarterMail.

Is there a way to automatically transfer these groups from the server to Outlook?

Our goal is to define groups in the SmarterMail admin panel, and have them automatically recognized when users log into Outlook, without requiring manual import/export.

We are aware of the import/export method, but since it is a manual process, it is prone to errors.

Is there any built-in feature or recommended approach to achieve this?

Does it matter if all users have access to those defined groups? User Groups, in SmarterMail terms, are really Groups set up for, and with, specific permissions.

A Contacts Public Folder may be more in line with what you want to accomplish as that's added at the domain level and then it shows as a Contacts Folder for users. That should sync via MAPI & EWS to clients.
